Even on August 15, the flour of drops continued amid the happiness of Independence Day, and the Meteorological Department says that this process is not going to stop yet.
Why is there constant rain cause anxiety?
The danger of increasing the water level of Ganga and Yamuna due to this unruly rain of monsoon has once again begun to raise its head. Many colonies of the city have been flooded, while the ponds in the villages have become full. The threat of diseases is also increasing due to water deposition in rural areas, which has increased the concerns of the Health Department.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be intermittent rain on August 16 i.e. Krishna Janmashtami. After this, there will be ups and downs in the weather from 17 to 21 August. There is a possibility of light rains somewhere, and there will be a camp of clouds in the sky. There will also be a change in temperature, where the mercury had crossed 35 degrees a few days ago, while now it can fall to about 30 degrees.
This year more rain in monsoon
Statistics so far show that this monsoon season has recorded 565.7 mm of rainfall in Prayagraj, which is 39% more than an average of 407.7 mm. This is the reason that the Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Ballia, Bhadohi, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Mau, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Sant Kabirnagar, Sultanpur and Varanasi including Prayagraj.
