LPG cylinder price improves
The month of October is festive month. In such a situation, people are expecting to cut the prices of LPG gas cylinders. Because in the last months, companies cut the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder. This time the prices of 14 kg cylinder have come down.
Tickery rules
Railways have changed the rules related to ticket booking to prevent ticket rigging. Which will be implemented from 1 October 2025, according to which only those people will be able to book tickets for 15 minutes after opening the ticket counter, whose Aadhaar card will be linked with IRCTC. At present, this rule will be applicable only to Tatkal ticket booking.
Changes related to UPI
From October 1, some major rules of UPI i.e. Unified Payments Interfaces will change. The new rules made by NPCI will affect apps like PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm. The biggest change is that the P2P transaction feature can be removed. This step has been taken to increase the safety of users and prevent online fraud. Meaning, from 1 October 2025, you will not be able to use the option to send money directly to each other on UPI apps.
Pension related changes
From 1 October 2025, a major changes are going to happen in the NPS National Pension System. Now non-government subscribers will be able to put their entire pension amount (100%) in equity i.e. share market related schemes. Earlier this limit was only 75%. Apart from this, private sector employees will also have to pay charge on opening Pran.

At the same time, the charge of opening PRAN and maintenance for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) and NPS light subscribers will be only Rs 15. The good thing is that there will be no fee on the transaction.
