Bihar Voter Rights Rally: Rahul Gandhi has started a ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ in Bihar, which will travel 1,300 km via 20 districts in 16 days. The journey is against ‘vote theft’ and irregularities in the voter list. It will conclude on 1 September.
Patna News: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will start a ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ against ‘Vote theft’ from Sunday, which will include former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav and several other leaders of the ‘Bharat’ alliance. The issue of special intensive revision (SAIR) of voter lists in Bihar will also be raised in this visit by the former Congress president.
16 days, 20 districts and 1300 km travel
Rahul Gandhi said that a total distance of 1,300 km will be covered in 20 districts in 16 days in this visit. He posted on ‘X’, ‘We are coming among the people with voter rights journey. What did Congress media chief say?
Congress Media Department chief Pawan Kheda said that the Election Commission cannot be allowed to become a box of BJP’s ‘double engine’. Pawan Kheda told reporters, ‘It is possible to breathe independently in independent India because we have the power to vote. Rahul Gandhi has started a struggle to ensure that every citizen of the country can breathe freely. Former Congress president and opposition coalition ‘India’ (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) leaders are going to start this journey against special intensive revision (SIR) and alleged ‘vote theft’ of voter list. The yatra will start from Sasaram and end on 1 September with a ‘Voter Rights Rally’ at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. This public meeting will include national level leaders of the ‘India’ alliance.

The journey will pass through Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Munger, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Purnia, Araria, Supaul, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Chhapra and Ara.
