Radikaa Sarathkumar has criticised online bullying and shared a strong message against those using public figures’ families as targets.
Her message comes after Kushboo Sundar has strongly condemned the online trolling directed at her daughters, Avantika and Anandita, mentioning that she will not remain silent when her family is subjected to personal attacks. The controversy began after Anandita opened up about facing trolling from a young age and the impact it had on her. Both Kushboo and Radikaa’s message indicated that, criticism should not cross the line into cruelty.

Actor-politician Kushboo Sundar has strongly condemned the online trolling directed at her daughters, Avantika and Anandita, stating that she will not stay silent while her family is subjected to personal attacks. Kushboo expressed her anger over individuals allegedly targeting her daughters for cheap publicity and said that a mother would always stand up to protect her children.
Supporting Kushboo’s stance, actor also spoke against online bullying. Sharing a picture with Kushboo’s family, Radikaa criticised the misuse of social media platforms to spread negativity and wrote that freedom of speech should not become an excuse to bully others. “Radikaa’s note read, Freedom of speech is not freedom to bully. Criticism is not cruelty. Humour is not humiliation. I write this angry angry at a vile, cowardly act by someone hiding behind a screen for likes and publicity. ” She said she won’t name him here, but staying silent would make me fail as a mother, a friend, a peer, and as a public voice.
She also added that mocking a public figure’s daughters is not comedy but cowardice, and said that character matters more than appearance.

Their younger daughter, Anandita, recently worked as a creative producer on the Tamil film Double Occupancy. Avantika recently tied the knot with Merchant Navy officer Shravan Sreenivasan.
