Actress Raashii Khanna has shared glimpses from the ongoing shoot of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Dharman’, posting pictures with Rajinikanth and Telugu actor Ram Pothineni from the film’s fourth schedule in Mysuru.
Sharing a series of pictures on Instagram, Raashii offered a peek into her time in Mysuru, including an image with Rajinikanth and Ram. She wrote about early morning workouts with the two actors, temple visits, exploring the city, playing UNO and enjoying Mysuru dosa.
The fourth schedule of director Ashwath Marimuthu’s film is currently underway in Mysuru. The team had completed its third schedule in Chennai before moving to the city for a planned shoot of around 10 days.
Marimuthu had earlier spoken about Rajinikanth’s enthusiasm for the project, saying the superstar was happy with the pace and the way the film was shaping up. He also praised Rajinikanth’s work ethic and energy on the sets.
The third schedule began on September 16. Marimuthu had shared a behind-the-scenes video featuring Rajinikanth and Raashii shooting together, captioning it as his return to the sets with the superstar.
The film’s second schedule wrapped on September 4 after beginning on August 13. Production house Raaj Kamal Films International had shared a video announcing the schedule wrap, including a glimpse of Rajinikanth portraying a senior medical faculty member addressing junior doctors.
‘Dharman’ has generated considerable interest since its announcement. In June, the makers released a making video showcasing the process behind Rajinikanth’s look in the film, followed by a first-look glimpse featuring his new appearance.
Rajinikanth plays a doctor who takes on criminals in the film. The title poster showed him inside a hospital operation theatre, holding a scalpel while standing over the body of a slain rowdy sheeter.
The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, with S. Disney as co-producer. Anirudh is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi is handling cinematography and Pradeep E. Raghav is the editor.
‘Dharman’ is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and features Rajinikanth in the lead.
