Ashwin said, “Sanju will definitely score runs in the final. A big innings is yet to come from him. In the last two matches, he just missed a century. I think he can make up for it in the final.” He further said that if Sanju attacks Kiwi pacer Matt Henry early on like he did against Jofra Archer in the semi-finals, India’s job will become easier.
Ashwin also warned about the form of New Zealand opener Finn Allen. He said that Allen, who scored a century in just 33 balls against South Africa in the semi-finals, is a big threat for India.
