4 villages together made a chant

He said, “There is a network problem in three-four villages of our Barur Gram Panchayat area. We are fighting for the network. Election was earlier boycotted. At that time, Taluk Panchayat came to EO and promised to solve the problem. Who has been paying attention to our network problem for 3 years?

The problem was for 3 years, now administration will solve in 3 days

The people of at least four villages – Barur, Kallukoppa, Theppagod and Mulukri protested outside the Gram Panchayat office with banners. Sasikumar said – In order to gather information for the survey, the officials need to go door -to -door, despite this, the villagers are being asked to come to the panchayat office and give their personal information. We are opposing this, we have already formed a net committee and are fighting for it, and we are also staging a sit -in in the gram panchayat premises. Sasikumar said- A Tehsil official met him and discussed his problems and assured that his demands would be resolved within three days, after which the dharna called by the local people was temporarily stopped. If the problem is not resolved, a major movement will be started. “

On Sunday, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar had said- The previous caste survey was not accurate, which is why the state government has approved a new survey. Even though objections may arise, caste census should be held. He said, “Anyone can object to caste census. However, this survey needs to be conducted. Even the court has said so… there is no point in opposing the survey.” Earlier, on October 3, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had reiterated his government’s commitment to complete the ongoing caste census and said that the survey work would probably be completed by 7 October.
