As per a Hindustan Times report, Fahadh Faasil uses a Vertu Ascent Retro Classic Keypad Phone, a handcrafted luxury device made by the UK-based company Vertu, priced at USD 11,920 (over Rs 10 lakh).
According to Vertu’s official website, the model is out of stock and no longer in production. Reports suggest that this model, launched in 2008, is best known for its premium build quality, which remains one of its standout features.
Why Does Fahadh Faasil Use a Keypad Phone?
In 2023, Fahadh Faasil opened up about his decision not to promote his films through social media. During a conversation with Pinkvilla, he said, “I never had a social media account. I was on Facebook in my college days, and that’s all. I prefer to connect with people on a personal basis rather than on social media. I have always been like this, and I don’t want to change.”
