Preparations begin for inauguration of Purnia Airport

Recently, the airport was inspected by a high -level team including Civil Aviation Secretary Sameer Sinha, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India Vipin Kumar and Bihar Development Commissioner Pratyam Amrit. He had given clear instructions to the airport officials that the construction work should be completed by 30 August. Let us tell you that in the year 2012, air service was started from Purnia Airport for a short time, but it had to be closed due to insufficient infrastructure and low passenger number.
