New Delhi: Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Jasprit Bumrah caught up with his India teammates Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna after his side’s clash against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Monday. Bumrah was seen pulling Siraj’s leg in a video shared by the Gujarat Titans after the game.
Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Titans by 99 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to snap their four-match losing streak in the IPL 2026. Post the game, Bumrah caught up with Prasidh and Siraj for a chat. In the clip shared on GT’s official social media handle, the senior Indian pacer was seen complaining to Siraj over not sending Biryani to him when he is in Hyderabad.
Bumrah also complained that DSP Siraj doesn’t send a police vehicle for him when he is in Hyderabad, pulling his leg over his position in the Hyderabad police. For context, Siraj was appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana in October, 2024. Bumrah even asked the GT pacer if he had earned a promotion and became commissioner from DSP.
“When I go to Hyderabad, I ask him to send Biryani, then he does. There’s no police car waiting for me, which says DSP,” Bumrah can be heard telling Prasidh with Siraj standing next to him.
The Mumbai Indians pacer chuckled and further asked Siraj, “Promotion hua ki nahi, commissioner hai?”

Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Titans by 99 runs in IPL 2026
Mumbai Indians thrashed Gujarat Titans by 99 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday to bring an end to their losing streak in the IPL 2026. Tilak Varma starred with the bat, and left-arm pacer Ashwani Kumar shone with the ball to propel MI to a commanding victory, helping them return to winning ways.
Tilak slammed an unbeaten 101 off just 45 balls, equalling Sanath Jayasuriya’s record for the fastest ton by an MI batter in the IPL to propel the visitors to a strong total of 199 runs against GT. Ashwani’s four-fer and excellent spells from Bumrah and Mitchell Santner helped MI skittle out GT for 100 runs to secure a thumping victory.
While MI managed to end their losing run with the victory, Bumrah ended his wicketless run in the match. The MI pacer dismissed Sai Sudharsan on the first ball of GT’s run chase to open his account in IPL 2026, ending his five-game wicket-less streak this season.
