Priyanka Chopra and Law Roach are back, and the sample size saga is officially over

If astrology isn’t real, then somebody explain this? Venus is retrograde, exes are texting back, and the most stylish reconciliation of the season just landed on a Los Angeles red carpet

Rewind to 2023. Priyanka mentioned that someone had told her she wasn’t sample-sized, and the internet instantly pointed at her stylist, Law Roach. Soon after, he announced he was quitting styling, and the two went their separate ways. Cut to now, time has healed everything, sample sizes included.

The occasion was the 2026 InStyle Imagemaker Awards, where Priyanka Chopra was honoured with the Woman of Impact Award. Avantika Vandanapu, Amita Rao and Megan Suri handed it over, and Priyanka posed with Avantika and Amita for the pictures. Standing behind the look was Roach himself. Diplomacy, but make it fashion.

She wore a blush-pink, feather-trimmed two-piece from Matières Fécales’ SS27 line, the same collection that made noise in Paris under the name 99%.

The top plunged low, nipped in at the waist, and had padded, slit sleeves ending in feathery cuffs. The matching pencil skirt trailed into a train and finished with a fringed, feathered hem. Benarasi silk, woven in India by Tilfi Banaras, lifted with gold detailing and purposely frayed edges.

Sweet colour, this is pink with an edge, a heritage textile pushed into experimental territory, and a very long way from afternoon-tea dressing.

The accessories stayed quiet, faux-pearl studs, a gold-toned watch, a few sparkling rings, and pink heels that echoed her bag. Her hair fell in bouncy waves parted deep to one side, paired with flushed cheeks and glossy mauve lips for a retro film-star finish.

So the journey went from Paris runway to LA carpet, with Indian craftsmanship, daring design and celebrity styling all sharing one frame.

Whether Priyanka and Law stay together beyond this appearance, we’ll see. For the moment, Venus Retrograde is clearly on their side.
