Priya Bhavani Shankar calls ‘Irumudi’ a memorable journey

Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has opened up about her experience working on director Shiva Nirvana’s upcoming bilingual film ‘Irumudi’, which stars Ravi Teja in the lead.

The actress plays Kaveri, a devoted wife and mother whose character is closely connected to the emotional core of the story. Promotional material has highlighted the relationship between Kaveri and Ravi Teja’s character, while the film also explores themes involving family, faith, emotional transformation and a father-daughter bond.

Priya said Kaveri became particularly meaningful to her after she understood the emotional world created by Shiva Nirvana. She felt the character offered an opportunity to be part of a story driven by genuine relationships and strong emotions.

The actress also spoke warmly about sharing the screen with Ravi Teja. She described the collaboration as comfortable and enjoyable, crediting the actor’s natural approach to his work and Shiva Nirvana’s clarity about the emotions required from each character.
