PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch two big schemes for farmers on Saturday, on which a total of Rs 35,440 crore will be spent. The biggest scheme among these is PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana, which costs Rs 24,000 crore.
PM Modi will talk to farmers
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi will participate in a special program organized at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in Delhi and will also interact with farmers. This program reflects the government’s commitment towards farmers’ welfare, self-reliance in agriculture and rural development. The main objective of PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana is to increase agricultural production and promote sustainable farming. Under this, crop storage arrangements will be improved at Panchayat and block level, irrigation facilities will be improved and easy loans will be made available to farmers in 100 districts.

Loans will be provided easily to farmers in 100 districts
The objective of this scheme is to increase agricultural production and encourage farmers to adopt modern and sustainable farming. Under this, better storage arrangements will be made at village and block level to keep the crops safe, irrigation facilities will be improved and short and long term loans will be easily provided to farmers in 100 districts.
