You can eat just one laddu daily, which warms your body from within and also strengthens your immunity. Making it is also not very difficult. You can make small laddus for children. Ingredients for making millet laddu

You will need one and a half cup i.e. approximately 200 grams of millet flour. If you want, you can prepare it by grinding it at home also. Apart from this, you will need 1 cup jaggery, half cup desi ghee, 10 to 12 cashew nuts, 10 to 12 almonds, two spoons of gum, 2 to 3 spoons of dry gola, half teaspoon cardamom powder. If you are taking more millet flour then you can increase the ingredients accordingly.

Preparation for making laddus

  1. First of all, cut cashews and almonds into small pieces and also grate dry coconut.
  2. Now heat some ghee in a pan and fry the gum in it. This will make the gum swell faster, when the gum swells well, take it out in a plate.
  3. After roasting the gum, fry the cashew nuts and almonds in ghee and then roast the grated coconut in the remaining ghee. After the gum cools down, crush it with the bottom of a glass or bowl.
  4. Now add more ghee in the pan. After this, add millet flour and fry on low flame while stirring continuously. When the color of the flour changes a little and the aroma starts coming out, turn off the gas and take it out in a plate.

Make laddus like this

After preparing flour, nuts and gum, you have to break the jaggery into small pieces and add it to the pan. Melt it on low flame. Keep in mind that the jaggery should not burn. Keep stirring it continuously with a ladle. When the jaggery melts completely, immediately turn off the gas.

Mix prepared millet flour, roasted nuts, grated coconut, cardamom powder and crushed gum in melted jaggery and mix well. Till this mixture remains slightly warm, apply desi ghee on your hands and keep making laddus. 10 to 12 laddus will be prepared with this mixture.

When the laddus cool down completely, store them in an airtight jar. It is best to store these laddus in a glass container. This way they do not spoil for at least two months.
