Recently, during a satsang, a devotee expressed his curiosity before Maharaj. He asked, Maharaj ji, in villages and cities, often when there is illness or interruption in work, people say that they have been affected by the evil eye. Can someone’s evil eye really spoil our work?
Premanand Maharaj removed this veil of confusion with great ease and smile. He made it clear that whatever happens in a person’s life, its basic basis is his own actions.

Premanand Maharaj told that when we fail, we try to avoid our responsibility by calling it ‘evil eye’ or ‘bad luck’. Whereas our past or present deeds only come out in the form of happiness and sorrow. He said that when the mind is connected to God, then no negative power of the world can affect you. Premanand Maharaj has suggested that whenever you step out of the house, do so while chanting the name of the Lord. The name of God is such an invisible shield that no eye can penetrate.

Premanand Maharaj told that when you believe that you have been affected by the evil eye, your confidence starts weakening. When you are in fear, you are not able to give your 100 percent to the work, due to which the work really gets spoiled. This is not the effect of evil eye, but the result of your own negative thinking. If the fear of evil eye has settled in your mind, then start chanting the name Radha. No one can do any harm to the one who is in the shelter of God. Instead of living in fear of sorcery, adopt the path of truth, service and remembrance. If you are doing good deeds and have the name of God on your face, then even the biggest obstacle will not be able to stop your path.
