Devotion is started out of selfishness – Premanand Maharaj
Premanand Maharaj further said that if a person drinks nectar selfishly, he will become immortal. Chanting the name of God is also nectar. Even if a person is selfish, if he chants the name, it will be beneficial for him. He told that devotion is started out of selfishness. Later, when the mind gradually becomes pure and pure, devotion becomes selfless.
After finding God there is no desire left
Premanand Maharaj further said that we also wanted to conquer Maya, but this desire of ours took us forward on the path of charity. Similarly, every person has some wish, due to which he moves forward. Our greatest desire is to attain God. If there is no desire then how will we move forward? He told that after attaining God there is no desire left in a person’s mind.
