dog in car accident
Recently, a devotee asked Premanand Maharaj that if a dog meets with an accident in my car and dies, then what should I do to get rid of this sin. On this question, Premanand Maharaj said, “If a dog accidentally dies while driving a car, it is an accident and it is not considered a deliberate sin, because there was no intention to kill.”
What did Premanand Maharaj say?
Premanand Maharaj said that if an animal meets with an accident in your car and you consider it dead and go away without seeing it or helping it, then it will be considered a sin, because it is speechless and has no one. In such a situation, it is important for you to get down from the car and see how injured he is and help him.
Maharaj ji further said that if a dog meets with an accident in a vehicle unknowingly, then walking away without helping the dog is considered a grave sin, the consequences of which the person will have to suffer in every situation and one cannot get relief from it. However, if a dog suddenly comes in front of a car and collides with it and dies, then it will not be considered a sin.
If a dog meets with an accident in your car and when you get down and look, it is found dead, then to get rid of this sin, you can take the name of God, charity and grace of God, because only He can forgive you.
