Premanand Maharaj: Former Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar recently met the famous saint Premanand Maharaj of Vrindavan. This meeting brought him a spiritual and emotional experience, where he got a new vision about the sufferings and responsibilities of life. The former DGP along with his wife Dimple Verma and daughter reached Premanand Maharaj’s ashram, where he received guidance over the next stop of his life.
Premanand Maharaj’s invaluable preach on life
During the meeting, Premanand Maharaj told Prashant Kumar that he has dedicated a large part of his life to the service of the country and society. Now that he has retired, it is time to apply this time in the remembrance and contemplation of God. Maharaj advised him to do such deeds, so that the life of man can be attained in the next life. He insisted that the remembrance of God protects from all plagues and sorrows, and this is the biggest support of human life.

New learning on daughter’s marriage
Prashant Kumar’s wife, Dimple Verma shared the concern of his daughter’s marriage with Premanand Maharaj. On this, Maharaj ji gave a very inspirational answer. He said that the marriage of the daughter is also a service to God in a way. He explained that God has come with us as the service of the family, and we should do this service with full dedication. Maharaj also said that God has already fixed her spouse for the daughter, we just have to try to find her. In this way, he also connected family responsibilities to spiritual duty.
The ultimate goal of human life, remembrance of God
Premanand Maharaj taught Prashant Kumar the most important lesson of life. He said that the last and best fruit of human life is that when our body is calm, it should be left in the memory of God. He told Prashant Kumar that God has given him everything in life, and now he should contemplate God in solitude. This thinking will make their life even more meaningful and will give them inner peace.
