Actress Preity Zinta visited the Kanapathy Temple in Paris and offered prayers on the last Monday of the auspicious month of Sawan, which is traditionally dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Preity shared glimpses of her spiritual visit on Instagram on Monday, describing the temple as one of the most beautiful Indian temples she had seen in Paris.
Dressed in white ethnic attire, the Veer-Zaara actress said her visit was a last-minute decision that left her deeply moved.
“Who would have thought that I would end up going to the most beautiful Indian temple in Paris on the last Monday of Sawan,” Preity wrote, adding that the unexpected visit gave her a feeling that she was “always meant to come here”.
She said the experience made her short Paris trip “extremely sweet” and encouraged people visiting the French capital to check out the Kanapathy Temple.
“If you are in Paris do check out the Kanapathy Temple folks. I’m sure you will love it just the way I did,” she added.
Preity frequently shares glimpses of her personal and professional life with her social media followers.
On Friday, she posted a selfie featuring chunky sunglasses and an oversized black T-shirt while sharing a cryptic update about her upcoming project Vibe.
The film stars Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava in key roles. Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, Vibe is backed by Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under the banner of Drongo Films.
The film is expected to release on September 18 and marks the production studio’s first venture.
