Preparations on the banks of Sangam are now almost in the final stages and the entire administration is busy in giving shape to the outline of a world class religious event.

Fast pace in fair preparations, direct monitoring of CM Yogi

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the fair administration has speeded up the preparations. From cleanliness to security, traffic system to medical facilities, every aspect is being specially strengthened. The entire fair will be decorated in the colors of 7 sectors – 7 energy cycles.

The administration has prepared a unique plan to give a sense of balance, beauty and spiritual atmosphere to every sector. The seven sectors and seven pontoon bridges will be decorated in the colors of the seven energy chakras.

A three feet wide demarcation strip will be made on the boundary wall of each sector, so that the size and identity of the fair area will remain clear. The official logo of Uttar Pradesh Government and Magh Mela-2026 will be displayed in every sector, so that the entire complex can present uniformity.

Changing rooms will be bigger, better and according to the color theme

  • This time the changing room is also being designed in a new way.
  • Their capacity will be double as compared to before.
  • Now 4 people can use the facility simultaneously in one unit instead of 2.
  • The color scheme will be as per the sector, which will make the entire area look attractive and well-organized.

These changes will make crowd management more streamlined.

New lighting, new safety on pontoon bridges

Pontoon bridges of Prayagraj have always been the identity of the fair, but this time their look will be more attractive and safer than before.

  • All the bridges will be painted in the colors of the seven energy chakras.
  • LED lights and religious symbols will be displayed on bridges and poles.
  • The flags and decorations will reflect the overall theme as per the colors.
  • Canopies will be installed to protect passengers from sun and weather.

Chief Minister’s goal – world class experience to the devotees

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given clear instructions that Magh Mela-2026 should not be just a religious event but should become an experience that sets the standard for events across the country for the coming years.

Giving priority to security, cleanliness, transport system, medical services and modern facilities, the fair administration has reached the final stage of its work.
