According to Ujjain’s astrologer Pt. Praveen Dwivedi, the auspicious time for Pradosh Vrat Puja on Monday, March 16 will be from 06:30 pm to 08:54 pm. That means devotees will get full 2 hours 24 minutes time for worship. On this day, there will also be 4 auspicious yogas named Shiva, Siddha, Shubh and Amrit, due to which the importance of this fast will be considered even more.

Perform Ravi Pradosh fast and worship with this method
On Monday, March 16, wake up early in the morning and after taking bath etc., take a resolution to fast and worship. Follow the rules of fasting throughout the day. Before the auspicious time, collect the worship materials at one place. First of all, anoint the Shivling with pure water, then with cow’s milk and once again with pure water. Offer things like flowers, Dhatura and Bilva leaves etc. Also chant the mantra Om Namah Shivay. Perform Aarti of Mahadev by offering Bhog. After the puja, donate as per your wish and eat satvik food.
