When should Pradosh fast in September 2025?
According to the Panchang, the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start from 11:45 pm on Thursday night, which will be 11:37 pm on September 19, Friday night. Since there is a law to worship Pradosh Vrat in the evening, it will be scriptural to observe this fast on September 19, Friday.

19 September 2025 Pradosh Vrat Puja Muhurta
On September 19, Friday, the auspicious time of Pradosh Puja will be from 06 pm to 21 minutes to 08:43 minutes. That is, devotees will get a full 02 hours 21 minutes for worship. On this day, there will be 2 auspicious yogas named Siddha and Sadhya, while in the Virgo zodiac, the Raja will be made a Raja Yoga from the combination of Sun and Mercury.
Venus Pradosh fast-worship method
– On September 19, Friday morning, wake up early and take bath etc. and take a pledge to fast. Keep chanting the mantra in the mind all day.
– Before the auspicious time, make complete preparations for the worship and keep the entire material in one place and keep it. Start worship as soon as the auspicious time starts.
– Offer pure water on the Shivling, then anoint cow’s milk and once again with pure water. Offer flowers and also light a lamp of pure ghee.
– Bilva patra, figure flowers, Dhatura, Roli, Abir, Janeu etc. should also offer it to Mahadev one by one. Do not forget turmeric and offer it.
– If possible, chant the mantra for some time for some time. For this, use the garland of Rudraksha.
Finally, offer God to God as per your wish and perform aarti. In this way, by fasting Pradosh, the grace of Lord Shiva will remain on you.
