2 December 2025 Pradosh Vrat auspicious time

During Pradosh Vrat, one observes the whole day without eating or drinking and worship is done in the evening. The auspicious time for worship on Mangal Pradosh on 2nd December will be from 05.24 pm to 08.07 pm. That means devotees will get full time of 2 hours 43 minutes for worship. On this day, there will also be four auspicious yogas named Variyaan, Parigha, Amritsiddhi and Sarvarthasiddhi, due to which the importance of this fast will become even greater.

Mangal Pradosh fast-worship method

Due to Pradosh being on 2nd December, Tuesday, it will be called Bhaum Pradosh. On this day, after waking up early in the morning and taking bath etc., take a resolution to fast and worship. Didn’t eat anything the whole day. If this is not possible then you can take fruits or milk.
– Make complete preparations for the puja before the auspicious time mentioned above. When the auspicious time starts, first offer water to Shivling and then anoint it with milk. Once again offer water to Shivling. Install the lamp.
– Offer things like Bilva Patra, Dhatura, Datika flowers, Janeu, Roli, Abeer etc. on Shivling. While worshiping, keep chanting the mantra Om Namah Shivay. Finally, offer food to Mahadev and perform Aarti as per the rituals.
By worshiping Pradosh Vrat in this way, Mahadev becomes pleased and fulfills every wish of his devotees. If any crisis is about to come in life then it also goes away with the effect of this fast.
