This date will end on December 18 at 2:32 midnight. In such a situation, Pradosh’s fast will be observed on 17th December.

Pradosh Vrat Puja Auspicious time (Pradosh Vrat 2025 Subh Muhurat)

The auspicious time of worship of Lord Shiva will start at 06.04 pm on 17th December during Pradosh period. This auspicious time will end at 8.41 pm. It will be auspicious to worship Lord Shiva during this time.

Pradosh Vrat 2025 Puja Vidhi

On the day of Pradosh Vrat, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. Before starting the puja, take a resolution to fast. Purify the home temple with Ganga water. Keep the idol of Shiva family or Shivalinga in the temple. Chant the mantra ‘Om Namah Shivay’. Abhishekam with Panchamrit. Offer Bilva leaves, Dhatura, hemp, Shami leaves, white sandalwood, Akshat, Kaner flowers and fruits to Lord Shiva. Light a ghee lamp. Listen or read the recitation of Shiv Chalisa and Pradosh Vrat Katha. Finally, complete the worship by performing Aarti of Lord Shiva.
