PPA Tour Asia 2025 Schedule Unveiled: Major Stops In China, Japan, And Malaysia

The much-anticipated PPA Tour Asia schedule for 2025 was announced on Tuesday as part of the global expansion plan of the United Pickleball Association (UPA), an American entity affiliated with the Global Pickleball Federation.

The Tour will witness Asia’s biggest pickleball stars competing for glory. The initial calendar will accommodate five tournaments in East Asian countries, with the opening event – Panas Kuala Lumpur Open – taking place in Malaysia from July 3 to 6. The Tour will announce more tournaments for Asia later this year.The PPA Tour Asia will then move to Hong Kong and Japan in August. While the Hong Kong Open will be held from August 21 to 24, the Sansan Fukuoka Open will take place from August 26 to 31. The season will resume in October after a one-month pause, culminating with the China Slam (October 1-5) and Kuala Lumpur Cup (October 9-12). The China Slam is the latest entrant in the elite UPA International Championship Series. Points earned at these events count towards the PPA Tour Asia Rankings as players chase the prestigious No. 1 crown.PPA Tour Asia Structure:Slam2,000 points with an estimated $1 million US in prize money and payouts, featuring elite international talent, including top American pros, Australian pros and Asia’s best players. Cup1,500 points and an estimated $500,000 US each in prize money and payouts, featuring established regional professionals and rising stars.
