Porsche Macan with Design Package: Porsche has introduced a limited-run edition version of the petrol-powered Macan SUV. It is called the Macan with Design Package, and can be customised inside and out with a host of interior and exterior accessories.

Starting with the exterior, the Porsche Macan with Design Package adds a sportier exhaust pipe, LED puddle lamps, tinted LED taillamps, and coloured hub caps for alloys. Along with these, Porsche also offers a Sports Design Package worth around Rs 2.2 lakhs, which includes aprons (both front and rear), black finishes for outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), and body-coloured side skirts.
Interior-wise, the Macan with Design Package offers a Carbon Interior Package as well as a black gear knob. Opt for the Carbon Interior Package costing Rs 2.2 lakhs, and you will get carbon finishes on the dashboard and doors.

Notably, the limited-edition model is priced the same as the standard SUV – Rs 96.06 lakhs. But, there is a catch! If you are considering buying the model, know that only the first 30 buyers will be able to own the limited-edition model at the abovementioned price; post this, buyers will have to pay an additional Rs 7.5 lakhs for the same.

Porsche Macan with Design Package: Powertrain
Under the hood, the Macan with Design Package has a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, which makes 261 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The Macan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. This number falls to 6.2 seconds when the Sport Chrono Package is employed. In terms of market competition, the Macan rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, and the Audi Q5.
