Poonam Dhillon Expresses Relief Over Tiger Shroff’s Safety After Juhu Firing Incident

Veteran actress Poonam Dhillon has voiced her shock and subsequent relief following the recent firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of Sangeetkar Bappi Lahiri Marg, Dhillon, who has known Tiger since childhood, described him as an ‘uncontroversial, loving, and respectful’ individual.

“My first reaction was one of shock,” Dhillon stated, recounting her disbelief at the news of the attack. “He is such a good and pure boy. So, when he was fired at, it was the biggest shock to us. But immediately, the biggest relief was that he is fine.”

The incident, which occurred in Mumbai’s Juhu area on October 18, involved unidentified assailants on a motorcycle allegedly opening fire at the car carrying Tiger Shroff. While the actor escaped unhurt, his driver and a passerby sustained injuries. The attack took place as Tiger was leaving after a football-related outing, highlighting concerns about safety in public spaces.

Dhillon also expressed deep concern for those injured, stating, “We pray that his colleague and driver, who were injured, are completely fine.” She further praised Tiger’s upbringing, attributing his grounded nature to his parents, Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff. “God has given Tiger, his father, who is so spiritual, and his mother, who is such an amazing friend. I have seen him since he was born; I might have attended his first birthday. I know what a loving, respectful boy he is.”

Concluding her heartfelt message, Dhillon lauded Tiger for his respect towards industry seniors. “There are very few heroes in the industry who respect their seniors so much. Tiger, I love you. God is protecting you. May you always be happy, and may you always progress. May you make your parents proud.”
