Political rhetoric regarding the Waqf Amendment Act has intensified in Delhi. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju launched a scathing attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, saying that Tejashwi does not even know that the bill passed in Parliament applies to the entire country and no state government can cancel it. Rijiju raised the question whether Tejashwi believed in the Constitution or not, and called the statement objectionable. He also demanded Rahul Gandhi to react on this.
