The Election Commission held a meeting with political parties and officials for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. BJP made suggestions such as deployment of central forces, elections in 1-2 phases and identity of women voters. The Commission reviewed the preparations for the fair election.
As soon as the Bihar assembly elections came close to 2025, the Election Commission held an important meeting with political parties. Representatives of all major parties were involved in this meeting, which took place on Saturday morning. The purpose of the meeting was to conduct the election process transparent, safe and smoothly.
BJP suggestions
BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said after the meeting that the party has given many important suggestions to the Election Commission. He said that the deployment of central force is necessary throughout Bihar, especially in Diara areas, where incidents like booth robbing take place. In addition, the emphasis was on holding elections in one or two phases.
Jaiswal also said that there should be special provisions to ensure the identity of women voters, especially for women wearing burqas. Apart from this, all voters should be sent to SMS alert and informed about voting 24 hours in advance. The BJP has also demanded to hold elections early.
Election Commission meeting with officials
Following the meeting with political parties, the Election Commission started the next meeting with all the big officials of Bihar. Chief Election Commissioner Dnyanesh Kumar and his entire team were present in it. DM, SP, Divisional Commissioner, DIG and IG of all the districts attended the meeting. In the meeting, the officials gave feedback of election preparations in their respective districts. In this, preparations like booth -wise security, monitoring on sensitive areas, voter list and deployment of polling personnel were detailed. The Commission ensured that all preparations were fair and safe.
Political parties and Election Commission meeting will prove to be an important step towards strengthening the transparency and security of the electoral process. With the BJP’s suggestions, security and emphasis on women voters, it has become clear that the Bihar assembly elections are in full swing to hold 2025 in a safe and well -organized manner.
