Patna/Nawada: A businessman has been caught hiding liquor in the septic tank built under the toilet. This incident took place in Nawada district of Bihar. Liquor prohibition is in force in Bihar, but law breakers are finding new ways to smuggle and sell liquor. This shocking incident came to light during the police raid at the house of liquor businessman Bikki Kumar. Police recovered 29 bottles of liquor hidden under the toilet tank. Station House Officer Dhanveer Kumar said that the accused has been arrested.
The house of the accused is in Nawada area at Tele Tola of Bundelkhand police station area. Police have also seized some money and a scooter from his house. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government had completely banned the sale and consumption of liquor in the state in April 2016.
This step was taken to improve law and order, reduce domestic violence and improve socio-health standards. But, despite the prohibition, businessmen are finding new ways to smuggle, sell and produce liquor across the state, which is becoming a headache for the authorities.
