How much subsidy will be given according to the capacity of solar panel?

Who can apply for PM Surya Ghar Scheme?
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The roof of the house should be suitable for solar panels.
- The house must have a valid electricity connection.
- Should not have availed the benefit of any other solar subsidy scheme earlier.

How to Apply for Rooftop Solar Panel?
- Go to the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
- Fill your state, DISCOM (electricity distribution company), consumer number, mobile and email.
- Login with consumer number and mobile.
- Fill the application form in the Rooftop Solar section.
- Wait for Feasibility Approval from DISCOM.
- After getting approval, get solar panels installed from a registered vendor.
- Apply for net metering after installation.
- DISCOM issues Commissioning Certificate after inspection.
- Upload bank details and canceled cheque, subsidy will be credited to your account within 30 days.
