PM Modi Bengaluru Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited Karnataka on Sunday, today he flagged off three Vande Bharat Express trains from KSR railway station.
PM Modi Bengaluru Visit: Bangalore, who has been struggling with traffic, has got a big relief today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express train between Yellow Line Metro and Bengaluru-Belgawi in Bengaluru. He also flagged off two other Vande Bharat Express trains between Amritsar -Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Ajni -Pune through video conferencing. Meanwhile, PM Modi also traveled from RV Road to Electronic City Station in the Yellow Line Metro.
Crowd areas will get relief
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Yellow Line Metro length from RV Road to Bomasandra under Bangalore Metro Phase-2 is more than 19 km, including 16 stations. The cost of this metro project is around Rs 7,160 crore. With the introduction of this Yellow line, the metro network in Bengaluru has now exceeded 96 km. That is, now the needs of the large population of the city will be fulfilled. According to officials, this line will reduce traffic problems in congested areas like Hosur Road, Silk Board Junction and Electronics City Junction.

Metro Phase-3 project also laid the foundation stone
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Bangalore Metro Phase-3 project. The estimated cost of this orange line is Rs 15,611 crore. The total length of this project will be more than 44 kilometers, which will have 31 elevated stations. The project will meet the growing transport requirements of the city and connect residential, industrial, commercial and educational areas. Phase-3 will have two corridors: JP Nagar from 4th phase to Kampapura and Hosahali to Kadbagere. These projects will strengthen the infrastructure of Bengaluru and provide modern transport facilities to the citizens.
