Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started his election campaign from Samastipur, the land of former Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur. The interesting thing is that this time his rallies are starting at a time when the entire Bihar is busy preparing for the festival of Chhath, a symbol of faith and culture. This emotional atmosphere was made even more lively by PM Modi through his social media message.
PM Modi’s emotional message on Chhath festival
While sharing a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote-
“Chhath, a great festival dedicated to nature and culture, is about to come. Devotees across the country including Bihar have started preparing for it with full devotion. The songs of Chhathi Maiya further enhance the grandeur and divinity of this holy occasion. You are also requested to share the songs related to Chhath Puja with me. I will share them with all the countrymen for the next few days.”
After this post of PM Modi, there has been a flood of Chhath songs on social media. People have responded to the Prime Minister’s emotional call by sharing videos of their villages, ghats and traditional songs.

Special arrangements regarding Chhath Puja
Prime Minister Modi has always shown special sensitivity towards Chhath Mahavrat. This year too, hundreds of Puja special trains are being run by the Central Government for Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal so that people can return to their homes and celebrate Chhath. Besides, operation of AC buses has also been started in many states. PM Modi, in his previous speeches, had said that Chhath Puja is a symbol of India’s “culture and dedication”.
Campaign started from the land of Karpoori Thakur
Today Prime Minister Modi reached Karpoori village in Samastipur, where he garlanded the statue of former Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur and also met his family members. He wrote on X-
“Today we will have the privilege of paying homage to Karpoori Thakur ji in Samastipur. Then at 12:15 pm, we will get an opportunity to interact with his family members.”
After this, a huge public meeting of PM Modi is scheduled in Begusarai at around 2 pm.
PM Modi’s election confidence visible in Bihar
Prime Minister Modi said in his statement that the enthusiasm and zeal of the people of Bihar clearly indicates that this time also BJP-NDA is going to get huge public support. He said that the people of Bihar will again support BJP in this new journey of development, faith and tradition.
