The songs of Chhathi Maiya further enhance the grandeur and divinity of this holy occasion. You are also requested to share the songs related to Chhath Puja with me. I will share them with all the countrymen for the next few days.”

Special arrangements regarding Chhath Puja

Prime Minister Modi has always shown special sensitivity towards Chhath Mahavrat. This year too, hundreds of Puja special trains are being run by the Central Government for Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal so that people can return to their homes and celebrate Chhath. Besides, operation of AC buses has also been started in many states. PM Modi, in his previous speeches, had said that Chhath Puja is a symbol of India’s “culture and dedication”.

Campaign started from the land of Karpoori Thakur

Today Prime Minister Modi reached Karpoori village in Samastipur, where he garlanded the statue of former Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur and also met his family members. He wrote on X-

“Today we will have the privilege of paying homage to Karpoori Thakur ji in Samastipur. Then at 12:15 pm, we will get an opportunity to interact with his family members.”

After this, a huge public meeting of PM Modi is scheduled in Begusarai at around 2 pm.
