Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend the United Nations General Assembly. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will replace India on 27 September. Jaishankar will present the country on issues like India’s foreign policy, global South and climate crisis.

In his place, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will represent India at the General Assembly on 27 September and will place India’s perspective in front of world leaders. This has been cleared in the revised list of the United Nations.
