Mention of the First World War and the sacrifice of Indian soldiers
PM Modi said that India’s relationship with the land of Israel is not only cultural but also of blood and sacrifice. More than 4000 Indian soldiers sacrificed their lives in this area during the First World War. This sacrifice makes India-Israel relations very strong. He told that even before becoming a modern nation, relations between the two countries are more than 2 thousand years old.
