New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday talked with Sushila Karki, Prime Minister of the Interim Government of Nepal. PM Modi expressed condolences on the loss of lives in the recent political upheaval. Modi reaffirmed India’s unwavering support for the efforts of the interim prime minister to restore peace and stability in the country. PM also extended a warm greeting to her and the people of Nepal on their national day on September 19.
“Had a warm conversation with Mrs Sushila Karki, Prime Minister of the Interim Government of Nepal. Conveyed heartfelt condolences on the recent tragic loss of lives and reaffirmed India’s steadfast support for her efforts to restore peace and stability. Also, I extended warm greetings to her and the people of Nepal on their National Day tomorrow,” PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X.
