The Prime Minister said that the President has expressed confidence in the bright future of India. The first quarter of the 21st century has been completed and the second quarter will be as decisive for India as was the period of independence in the last century. He said that the country is at a critical juncture and now is not the time to look back.

2- Young India and increasing global attraction

PM Modi said that India is getting younger day by day, which is a big opportunity for the country. The world is recognizing India’s talent. The youth of India have dreams, determination and potential, which is taking the country to new heights.

3- India becomes a ray of hope in global challenges

The Prime Minister said that today India is among the countries that provide solutions to the world’s problems. The balance of high growth and low-inflation shows the strength of India’s economy. He said that before 2014, India was called Fragile Five, but today India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world.

4- New World Order and India’s growing role

PM Modi said that after Covid, the world is going through a new global situation and a new global world order is being formed. The system that was created after the Second World War is now changing and the world is leaning towards India. The Prime Minister said that today India has become the voice of the Global South. In the last few years, India has made trade deals with 9 big countries of the world. He said that earlier no country used to deal with India, today the situation has changed.

The Prime Minister said that before 2014, the country’s banking sector was in crisis. Today NPA has come below 1%. Under Mudra Yojana, unsecured loans worth more than Rs 30 lakh crore were given to the youth, so that they became self-reliant. PM Modi said that earlier PSUs were considered to be closed institutions. Today the same PSUs are earning record profits and getting big orders from India and abroad. The dream of Make in India is coming true. Modi said, Congress has not made any concrete plan for small farmers. We transferred Rs 4 lakh crore directly into the accounts of farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which gave new strength to the farmers.

PM Modi said that during the time of Congress, the Planning Commission was away from the ground reality. After 2014, NITI Aayog was formed, which worked rapidly. Development has reached backward districts and change is visible in areas like Bastar. The Prime Minister said that through the ‘Pragati’ platform, stuck projects worth Rs 85 lakh crore were completed, many of which were pending for 30 years.

He said that Congress leaders considered the people as the problem, whereas their government believes that the 140 crore countrymen are the solution. The Prime Minister said that 25 crore people came out of poverty, electricity reached more than 18 thousand villages, 4 crore poor people got permanent houses.
