PM Modi speaks to UAE President, condemns attacks on Gulf nation

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his first reaction to the Iran-Israel conflict as he strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on the UAE, stood in solidarity with our Gulf partner, condoled the lives lost, and thanked Sheikh Mohamed for safeguarding over 3.5 million Indians there.

Modi wrote on his social media about interacting with the President of the United Arab Emirates and stated India strongly stands in solidarity with the UAE during this difficult time.

“Spoke with the President of the UAE, my brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Strongly condemned the attacks on the UAE and condoled the loss of lives in these attacks. India stands in solidarity with the UAE in these difficult times,” PM Modi wrote on his social media

“Thanked him for taking care of the Indian community living in the UAE. We support de-escalation, regional peace, security and stability,” he added.
