Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Tianjin in China where he met President Xi Jinping before the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The meeting took place amid signs of softening in India-China relations. PM Modi is on a tour of China after seven years and this is his second meeting with Jinping in ten months. The last meeting was held during the BRICS 2024 conference in Kazan, Russia. This meeting is considered very important in terms of relations between the two countries.
