India-Israel PM Discussion: An important phone conversation took place between the Prime Ministers of India and Israel on Wednesday. Both the senior leaders reiterated the policy of zero-tolerance on terrorism and agreed to further strengthen the India-Israel strategic partnership.
PM Modi-Benjamin Netanyahu Talks: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a call from Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday. The two leaders discussed many important issues. During this, it was agreed to further advance the India-Israel strategic partnership. The policy of zero-tolerance against terrorism was reiterated. From the situation in West Asia to the Gaza Peace Plan, both global leaders stressed the need for a peaceful solution. PM Modi clearly said that India always supports every effort that helps in bringing lasting and just peace in the region.
Agreed to further strengthen India-Israel relations
The phone call began with the two leaders noting the progress of bilateral relations. PM Modi and PM Netanyahu agreed that the India-Israel Strategic Partnership has strengthened significantly in the last few years and now is the time to take it to the next level. Both the countries are already working together in sectors like technology, defence, agriculture and innovation. There was also confidence in the conversation that this partnership will grow more rapidly in the coming times.
Message of zero tolerance on terrorism
Both global leaders strongly condemned all forms of terrorism. During the conversation, PM Modi and Netanyahu clearly said that terrorist activities will not be tolerated in any form. This statement has come at a time when the world is facing new threats and challenges of terrorism.

During the phone call, the current situation in West Asia was also discussed in detail. Prime Minister Modi said that India supports every initiative that can bring just and durable peace. He also reiterated the need to quickly implement the Gaza Peace Plan. India has already talked about reducing conflict and increasing humanitarian assistance. The two leaders said they will remain in regular touch and continue cooperation on current issues.
