Prime Minister Modi asked the countrymen to share their photos with pride on social media and adopt indigenous products. He wrote, “Come, buy Indian products and proudly say that it is Swadeshi. Also share what you have bought on social media. This will inspire others to do the same.” It is noteworthy that the Central Government led by Prime Minister Modi had announced the reduction in GST rates from September 22 last month. On the occasion of Navratri, the government named it GST Bachat Utsav. The government said that this step has been taken to provide relief from inflation as per the demand and needs of the people during the festive season.
