PM Modi chairs meeting of CMs via video conferencing, reviews preparedness amid Iran-US war

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with every state’s chief minister via video conferencing on Friday, March 27, to discuss the contingency plans amid escalating tensions in West Asia. The CMs with upcoming elections are not participating due to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

The meeting will purely focus on the spirit of ‘Team India,’ ensuring coordination and synergy of efforts across states. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nirmala Sitharaman presented in the meeting.
