PM Modi Birthday: In Raipur, CM Vishnu Dev Sai launched ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’, ‘Angika-2025’ and PM Swanidhi Yojana 2.0. Granted home to 11 thousand beneficiaries, launched the cleanliness super league tool-cut and called for making cleanliness a mass movement.
Raipur. 17 September 2025. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai joined the cleanliness, housing and public welfare festival of the Urban Administration and Development Department today. The program was held at Shri Atal Bihari Bajpai Auditorium of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Raipur.
During this, he launched the state level of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’, ‘Angikar-2025’, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana 2.0 and Public Welfare Fair. He also provided home entry to 11 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Shri Arun Saw, MP Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Mr. Rajesh Munat, MLA Mr. Sunil Soni and Raipur Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey and many public representatives were present in the program.
CM Vishnu Dev Sai released cleanliness super league tool-cut
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and guests released state level cleanliness super league tool-cut.
Building permission letters were handed over to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0.
Checks were distributed to the beneficiaries of PM Swanidhi Yojana.
Compassionate appointment letters were provided to the families of the late personnel of Raipur Municipal Corporation.
The Chief Minister also administered the oath of cleanliness to all the attendees and flagged off the door-to-door garbage collection vehicles.
Emphasis on birthday congratulations to Prime Minister Modi and cleanliness
The Chief Minister greeted Vishwakarma Jayanti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday in the program. He said that PM Modi has done a big job of making the country aware of cleanliness and health. He also said that cleaning at home and outside is not only the duty of women but also the duty of men. The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for this achievement.
7 National Awards in Clean Survey to Chhattisgarh
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has received 7 National Awards in Swachh Survekshan-2024-25. Out of the 100 cleanest cities of the country (less than 20,000 population), 58 cities are from Chhattisgarh. He thanked cleanliness Didis, cleaning workers and citizens for this achievement and appealed for further improvement. The Chief Minister said that the work of the state is running in line with the Vision Document 2047, so that the dream of developed Chhattisgarh and developed India is realized.

Shri Arun Saw said that Prime Minister Modi has worried about every citizen in the last 11 years.
On the resolution of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, the country has been pushed forward.
Under the Angik-2025 campaign, the work of providing housing to every eligible family is being done.
Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana 2.0 has been implemented in the entire state from today, which will give street vendors an opportunity to move forward.
He said that cleanliness is the service campaign to every person and it will be made a mass movement.

Dr. Basavraju S., Secretary, Urban Administration Department In the welcome address, he told that this time the cleanliness fortnight is being celebrated as ‘Swachhotsav’. During the fortnight, a cleanliness drive will be conducted in every urban body by identifying black-spots with dirt. Senior officials of Urban Administration and SUDA, Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Vishwadeep, CEO Mr. Shashank Pandey, MIC members, councilors and a large number of beneficiaries attended the occasion.
