The PM development program launched in 2018, minority youth is a major initiative to pursue skills, skills, entrepreneurship and leadership. Under this, schemes like ‘Sikho and Earn’, ‘New Manzil’, ‘Nai Roshni’, ‘Our Heritage’ and ‘Usttad’ were added. So far, more than 40,000 people have directly benefited from it.

Schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana and PM Self -Rishidhi also connected minorities with banking and employment. According to the data, 11 percent of the beneficiaries of the Mudra scheme come from the minority community.

The Modi government abolished the Haj subsidy and spent around Rs 400 crore on the education of minority students. The Haj process was made digital and from 2023 women got the freedom to apply alone in the Lady without Mehram (LWM) category.

‘Jio Parsi Scheme’ for Parsi community
