Historical decision on triple talaq
The Muslim Women (Protection of Marriage Rights) Act, which passed in 2019, immediately declares triple talaq as a crime. After the arrival of this law, in just one year, such cases decreased by 82 percent. This brought respect and justice to Muslim women.
PM development program for minorities
The PM development program launched in 2018, minority youth is a major initiative to pursue skills, skills, entrepreneurship and leadership. Under this, schemes like ‘Sikho and Earn’, ‘New Manzil’, ‘Nai Roshni’, ‘Our Heritage’ and ‘Usttad’ were added. So far, more than 40,000 people have directly benefited from it.
Scholarship for minority students
The Modi government gave the most emphasis on minority students regarding education. The budget of the post matric scholarship scheme was increased from 70 crores to 2023-24 in 2008-09. At the same time, the budget of pre -matric scholarship increased from 62 crores to 400 crores.
Waqf Amendment Act 2025
This law was brought to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of Waqf properties. The aim of this is that the property of the community should be used only in the interest of minorities.
Equal welfare schemes for all
The direct benefits of big schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Water Life Mission reached minority communities. For example, 15 percent houses built under PMAY-G were given to minorities.
Financial Inclusion of Minorities
Schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana and PM Self -Rishidhi also connected minorities with banking and employment. According to the data, 11 percent of the beneficiaries of the Mudra scheme come from the minority community.
Improved Haj pilgrimage
The Modi government abolished the Haj subsidy and spent around Rs 400 crore on the education of minority students. The Haj process was made digital and from 2023 women got the freedom to apply alone in the Lady without Mehram (LWM) category.
‘Jio Parsi Scheme’ for Parsi community
More than 400 Parsi children have been born so far from this scheme, which started in 2014 to save the declining Parsi population. Funding has also been increased from 14.5 lakh to 3 crore. The Modi government also gave the Padma Awards to 10 Parsi celebrities, respecting the contribution of Parsi society.
Protection of religious and cultural heritage
Under Prasad and Swadesh Darshan Yojana, Hazratbal Dargah, Patna Sahib Gurdwara, Church and other religious places were rejuvenated. During Operation Devi Shakti in 2021, it was also a step in this direction to bring India from Kabul to Guru Granth Sahib.

Traditional arts and skills promote through usttad
The objective of the USTAD scheme launched in 2015 was to save the traditional skills of the minority community and train the youth and connect them to the market. So far, more than 21,000 people have benefited from this. In 2024 it was included in PM development.
New 15 -point program for minorities
In 2025, the Modi government launched a new 15 -point program for minorities. It emphasizes on education, employment, credit, infrastructure, self-employment and equal participation in government schemes. Its goal is to ensure the development of all six notified minority communities.
