PM Modi backs ‘Gaza Peace Plan’, says ‘humanity must never become a victim of conflict’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that ‘humanity must never become a victim of conflict’ while adding that the Gaza Peace Plan has created a pathway towards peace. He added that India has fully supported these efforts, while adding that in the future as well, New Delhi will continue dialogue and cooperation with all countries.

“Terrorism cannot be accepted in any form or any manifestation. We have stood shoulder to shoulder in opposing terrorism and its supporters, and we will continue to do so,” PM Modi said. He added that terrorism has no place in the world.

‘Critical and Emerging Technologies Partnership’

Addressing a press briefing with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, PM Modi further said that New Delhi and Tel Aviv have decided to establish a Critical and Emerging Technologies Partnership. “This will give new momentum to cooperation in areas such as AI, Quantum technologies and Critical Minerals,” PM Modi said.

He also said that he was pleased about the agreement between the countries to enable the use of UPI in Israel. India and Israel also elevated their “time-tested partnership” to a “Special Strategic Partnership”.

PM on second visit to Israel

“Our ties have stood the test of time,” PM Modi said.

He further said, “Nine years ago, I had the honour of becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel.” Talking about his second visit to the country he said that it was a moment of pride and emotion for him.
