PM Kisan Yojana: The farmers are waiting for the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana the government has not announced any date for the transfer of the amount.
Earlier last month, several reports suggested that the amount is likely to be transferred by the end of June. However, the transaction is likely to now take place in the first week of July. The central government sends an amount of Rs 6 thousand rupees per year to the farmers to support them in the agricultural activities. The total amount is transferred to the accounts of eligible farmers in 3 installments.
The 19th installment of this scheme was transferred to the bank account of beneficiaries in February 2025. The 20th installment was likely to be transferred in June; however, the farmers have not received the amount yet. The 20th installment of the ambitious scheme is likely to be sent to the farmers’ accounts in the first week of July. However, some reports are also claiming that the amount may come this week or by the first week of July. However, no official data has been released by the government in this regard.
The government issues the PM-KISAN installment amount directly to the bank account of the farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. It is important to link your bank account with Aadhaar to avoid missing the next installment. You can link your Aadhaar with your bank account by visiting the bank, or you can update it online.
Apart from this, the farmers need to complete the e-KYC process to receive the amount. e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) is important for all registered beneficiaries to avoid payment failure. The farmers can complete e-KYC through OTP-based e-KYC, biometric e-KYC, or facial authentication. The government had emphasised that the scheme will give significant boost to the farmers.
