So far, the government has released 20 installments and the 21st installment is likely to be released in October. But this time the installment of many farmers may get stuck.

The government has made it clear that some farmers will not get the 21st installment at the moment. The reason is the possibility of fraud and incomplete process. Farmers whose installment has been stopped, will have to get a physical examination of the documents required to resume the benefit of the scheme.

Which farmers will stop the next installment?

Also, many such cases have also come up where farmers have bought land after 1 February 2019, but there has been a disturbance in the documents of eligibility. In all these cases, the government has temporarily stopped the next installment of the farmers concerned. Now these farmers will not be able to get the amount of the scheme until they get their physical verification done.

What is physical verification?

Physical verification means that documents related to your land and family information will be investigated on the spot. Under this, the concerned government officials will see these things.

  1. The land is actually the name of the farmer or not
  2. How many people are already taking advantage of the scheme in the same family
  3. The information given online is correct or not

If there is a disturbance in the investigation, not only the next installment can be stopped, but the earlier amount can also be recovered.

E-kyc is necessary to get the next installment

Along with this, this time the government has made E-KYC mandatory. That is, the 21st installment of the farmers who have not completed their E-KYC till now can get stuck. Therefore, the farmers have been appealed to complete their E-KYC as soon as possible. Apart from this, it is also necessary that your Aadhaar card is connected to your bank account, because the installment is paid through Aadhaar based DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Farmers have been advised to check their records and update in time. You can check your PM-Kisan beneficiary status online in this way.

  2. Click on Beneficiary Status on the homepage
  3. Enter Aadhaar number, bank account or mobile number
  4. Click Get Data and see your details
  5. If there is an error or KYC is incomplete, then get it updated immediately

How long can you get the 21st installment?

According to media reports, the 21st installment can be transferred to farmers’ accounts before Diwali. This time too, about 10 crore farmers are expected to get an amount of ₹ 2,000. But farmers who are under investigation due to documentary disturbances or incomplete KYC, they will have to make necessary improvements in time, otherwise they may have to be deprived of this benefit.
