PM Kisan: The wait of farmers is over! Rs 2000 will come to your account on this day, you may get ‘double’ good news

Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

For crores of farmers across the country, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) has become not just a government scheme but a major source of economic support. So far, 21 installments of this scheme have been successfully released by the Central Government and now the eyes of the donors are fixed on the 22nd installment.

According to government rules, this money is given three times a year in the periods April-July, August-November and December-March. Since the previous installment was released in November 2025, the time cycle of the next i.e. 22nd installment falls between December to March. However, considering the old pattern and administrative preparations, it is being estimated that the government may release the 22nd installment in March 2026 or early April 2026.

Will the fate of farmers improve in the budget?

At present the whole country is waiting for the general budget to be presented on 1st February. When Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presents the budget in Parliament, there may be some good news hidden in it for farmers. At present, under PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers get Rs 6,000 annually, which is given in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.

In view of inflation and increasing cost of farming, there has been a demand for increasing this amount for a long time. In such a situation, speculations are being made that the government may announce an increase in the amount of Samman Nidhi in this budget. If this happens, it will be a big relief for crores of farmer families of the country.

Do this work immediately so that the money does not get stuck

It is often seen that even after the installment is released, the money does not reach the accounts of many farmers. The biggest reason for this is non-completion of e-KYC. The government has made it clear that the benefit of the next installment will be available only to those farmers whose e-KYC process is complete.

If you have not completed this process yet, then complete it immediately through PM Kisan Portal or mobile app. For this you do not even need to go anywhere. The government has started OTP-based e-KYC system. If your mobile number is linked to Aadhar card, then you can do your verification sitting at home.

For this you just have to go to the official portal (pmkisan.gov.in), select ‘e-KYC’ option and enter your Aadhaar number and OTP.
