PM Kisan: Crores of food donors across the country are eagerly waiting for the next installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Last time, the gift of happiness came into the accounts of farmers on 19th November, but since then a long gap has passed. Now this wait is in its last hour. Looking at the preparations of the Agriculture Ministry, it is believed that the government can pour money into the bank accounts of farmers even before the festival of colours, Holi.
These farmers will get Rs 4000, not Rs 2000
In the year 2026, the festival of Holi will be celebrated on 4th March. If media reports and ministry sources are to be believed, the government is trying to warm the pockets of the farmers before the festival. That means, Rs 2,000 of the 22nd installment can be transferred to your account before March 4, 2026. However, the government has not yet announced any official date for this, but departmental movements are pointing in this direction.
The special thing is that this time some farmers may get double the happiness. In fact, during the last i.e. 21st installment, the money of many farmers was stuck due to technical glitches or lack of documents. This opportunity is special for such farmers. If they have rectified their deficiencies, a total of Rs 4,000 will be transferred to them including the previous and new installments together.

Before the installment is released, it is very important to ensure whether your name is active in the beneficiary list or not. Many times money gets stopped due to a small mistake. You can check your status from your mobile while sitting at home:
- First of all go to the official website of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in).
- On the homepage you will get the option of ‘Farmers Corner’.
- Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ there.
- Now enter your Aadhaar number or registration number.
- Your complete information, e-KYC and land seeding status will appear on the screen. If everything is ‘Yes’, then the money will definitely come to your account.
One mistake and money will be stuck
The government has made the rules very strict to bring transparency in this scheme. Now the money is sent directly to the bank account linked to Aadhaar, so that no middleman can come in between. If you have not yet completed your eKYC or your bank account is not linked to Aadhaar, then your 22nd installment may be delayed.
The benefit of the scheme will be available only to those farmers whose land records are updated on the portal and whose e-KYC is verified. If ‘No’ is visible anywhere in your status, then correct it without any delay. This small precaution can save you from last minute trouble.
