PM Kisan Yojana
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has confirmed that the 21st installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on 19 November 2025. On this day, Rs 2,000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This scheme is running from 24 February 2019 and every eligible farmer family gets an assistance of Rs 6,000 annually. So far, a total amount of more than ₹ 3.70 lakh crore has been given to more than 11 crore farmer families across the country through 20 installments.
Which farmers will not get money in their account?
Although the 21st installment will be released on November 19, some special groups of farmers may find it difficult to get this amount. These include the number of farmers whose e-KYC is still not completed. If your Aadhaar and bank account are not linked to each other, your installment may get stopped. Therefore, if you have not yet done e-KYC, complete it immediately.
Apart from this, some farmers of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand will not get Rs 2,000 on this day. This is because its 21st installment has already been released in these states.
Which farmer can take benefit?
To avail the benefits of PM-Kisan scheme, it is mandatory for farmer families to register the details of their agricultural land on the government portal. Apart from this, it is necessary to link their bank account with Aadhar card so that the money can reach their bank account directly. From time to time, the government runs campaigns at the Panchayat-level and village-level, so that more and more land owners can get the eligibility of the farmer scheme and their verification can be done.
How to complete e-KYC?
e-KYC (Digital Identity Verification) is a very important part of this scheme. You can do your e-KYC in three ways:
- OTP based e-KYC: An OTP will come on your bank or Aadhaar number, verification can be completed by filling it.
- Biometric e-KYC: Your identity is confirmed through a process like fingerprint scanning.
- Facial recognition based e-KYC: Your face is verified through video calling or camera.
How to check your status
If you want to check whether your installment is due or whether you have received it yet, follow these steps:
- Go to the official website of PM-Kisan.
- Go to the section ‘Beneficiary Status’ there.
- Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number.
- Click on the ‘Get Data’ button.
After this you will see the name, payment status, and installment status of your scheme. In this way you can know whether your 21st installment has been released or not and if you are facing any kind of problem then you can complain about it in time.
